How Wand Works
Ultraviolet C (UVC) light has a very short wavelength and very high energy. Wavelengths between 200–300 nm are considered germicidal, as they are strongly absorbed by nucleic acids.
UVC light is proven to be highly effective in killing bacteria and other pathogens, by scrambling their DNA or RNA (their genetic code). Once their genetic code is broken, they can no longer function.

Unlike traditional UV sterilization that is dangerous and requires immense precaution, MiniWand is safe to use whenever and wherever you want. Traditional UV sterilization lamps use dangerous ozone and mercury producing bulbs that cause dangerous side effects.
We paved a new direction for UV disinfection by creating a device that is safe and practical. MiniWand uses chemical and ozone free UVC LED chips in place of chemical-emitting bulbs.
Our device is equipped with a gravity sensor that automatically pauses the device when it is facing up to prevent exposure to the eyes or skin. When turned back down it instantly powers back on so you can start disinfecting again.
